(The  Celebration of Mother Day)

                                                    The program was conducted by Shakuntala Bahadur. P K Banga presented devotional song in the beginning of the program. Kamala Solanki conducted 'Omkar'.
                                                    Krishna Gutala gave the historical background of 'Mother Day' wherein he mentioned that original idea was initiated by Anna Jarvis in  the year 1910. He further informed that the American Congress declared the Second Sunday of May as a' Mother Day' in the year 1914. Manju Kaushik presented Bhajan. Prema Santhnam talked about the changing role of mother. Sheela Kelkar presented one Marathi song regarding Mother. Nirmalaji  talk in Hindi regarding power and strength of mother. Indu Chhabra sang one Hindi song from  \Movie ' Jagruti' which was related to mother.  Zeba Rezvi talked  in Urdu  regarding the constructive role of mother in the society. Vijaya Srivastav talked about mother and regarding her public service activities at  New Delhi. Kanan Srivastav talked about mother while Amrita Verma described the success story of one of the American mothers. Bharat Desai also spoke in Gujarati regarding Mother's role in individual life. He also recited one Gujarati poem thereon. Urmil Chadda  spoke in Hindi regarding her personal experiences as mother with her children  Dr Mahipal Ghemawat was  of view that  mother plays important role in the family but father also give due support in the task. Dr Jotwani also suggested that due importance should be also given to the role of mother in law. Shakuntala Bahadur gave due tribute to mother in concluding remarks.
                                        AGK one of the Board Members of ' ICC' also informed regarding  the forthcoming Marathon race program of July wherein 75 philanthropic- service organizations are going to participate.
                                 The program ended with Prayer.
