Chhajjuka Chaubara as on 24th July 2013

                                                                          The program started  with  prayer.
                                                                          Akur Srinivasan  presented one biographical sketch of celebrity. Gita Mahajan presented  story regarding love for Dog. Swaati presented poems and her own experience regarding inner development. Dinker sang one devotional Tamil song. Thadani sang one famous song of Mukhesh from old movie. Veena Gupta presented few Shayari and Gazal in Hindi. Manju Kaushik presented one Gazal  of Jagjit Singh from Hindi movie. Rajkumari presented one devotional song. Pushpa Mathur sang one classical devotional song of Surdas.
                                                                          Dr Mahipal Ghemawat gave presentation regarding Health Care wherein he  briefed Seniors regarding Slip Disk, Kidney Disease. He also gave some tips regarding Healthy Food and Vitamin'D'.
                                                                        The students of Satish Gadadkar presented the one hour musical program on key Board. It was received well. The young tabla player Hemanand was appreciated very much. Dr V Jotwani felicitated all young Artist. The vote of thanks was proposed by Shakuntala Bahadur. The program  ended with prayer.

(SPIRITUAL AND YOGA SESSION)

                                                                       T P Subramonion chaired the session and Shashi Bubna, a  Corporate Leader, Engineer, Scholar and Researcher was a Guest Speaker. T P Subramonion also gave the formal introduction of Guest speaker and the opening remarks.
                                                                         Thereafter Shashi Bubna started his power point presentation on ' The Journey of Souls' with opening remarks that journey of soul is a mistory of life. He added that life is real and it is not grave. He further stated that the theory of reincarnation is based on lot of research and experiences. He came across  450 books regarding the said \Subject written by various scholars and writers.
                                                                        He discussed the following subjects  in details under power point briefing.
- Who or what is god?
- What is soul?
-Karma and Reincarnation
-The process of Reincarnation
-The documented proof of Reincarnation
-The research on ' The Near Death Experiences'
                                                                      He also informed that theory of reincarnation is also supported  by Hinduism,Koran, Bible, Judism, Tibatan Buddhism, Rome,Greece,Egypt, and including 'The Theosophical Society of New York, USA.
                                                                       There was very interesting question/ answer Session wherein Several Seniors took part. Dinesh Bajaj facilitated Shashi Bubna with memento from ICC, Cupertino and T P Subramonion proposed vote of Thanks.
                                                                          Mahendrabhai  conducted Yoga Session from 12 noon to 1.00PM.

                                       The session was started with prayer offered by Mrs Sevani. Dr Vivek  Shanbahug,MD,(Ayurveda),'Ayurveda Ratna', and Board member of ' The California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine' was a guest speaker. B K Rao, ISA, former Secretary of government of India chaired the session.
                                        Thereafter M L swamy , Secretary,'FOSWL' gave his welcome address wherein he gave the progress report regarding the the various chapters of FOSWL. Akur Srinivasan, Vice president,' FOSWL' gave the introduction of the distinguished speaker of the day. B K rao gave his opening remarks wherein he mentioned the contribution made by Dr Shanbahug in the field of ayurvedic medicine.
                                        Dr Vivek Shanbahug gave his power point presentation on" The longevity with dinacharya-Ayurvedic health routine"
He added that healthy  and long life is based on the healthy routine. He also explained the healthy routine wherein one is required go with healthy habit, less stress, stronger immune system and fewer infection. Besides that skill has to be developed for time management. The oral hygiene is also important factor in the healthy routine. The early to rise  by six and to go for sleep by  9.30pm is good habit.The early morning exercises keeps one body in tact including doing Surya Namashkar, Pranayam, Dhayan and Walk for 20 minutes. The Abhyenga herbal oil massage is also good
                                       The diet is also very important factor in healthy routine. Three regular meals but keeping away from unhealthy chemicals is also Requires. One must try to take vegetarian food with less sugar, salt, coffee, soda and junk food. One can also take tombola after meal for proper digestion of food. The  dinner by 7.00pm is the most suitable for maintaining good health. The most of the decease starts from the mouth. Therefore cleaning of teeth and toung is very important. Besides that drinking 3 to five glasses of water per day is more important for cleaning the body.
                                       B K Rao in his closing speech stressed point on study of the some of the aspects of Ayurveda medicines even though it has become universal.
                                      The question answer  session was well  participated by the seniors.
