                                                       The program started with the prayer  by Avatar Kaur. The 'Omkara was conducted by A  Narayanaswami who explained how it affects Tamas, Rajas, and Satvic qualities of Human being.
                                                   



                                                      Thereafter Pushpa Mathur presented devotional song in Rag Bahar. Ms Kaushik also presented devotional song. Shakuntala Bahadur recited song  regarding advancing age of seniors and how to handle it suitably. Krishna Gutala presented Hindi movie songs  on Key Board. Harendra Vasavada presented one song of Lata Mangeshkar from old movie. Thadani also presented song in Sigal voice. Rangamany Swamy presented one devotional song in Telugu. Avatar Kaur presented one devotional song in Punjabi while Indu Chhabra presented one Hindi song from old movie. Ms Sinha sang one devotional song. R P Agarwal presented one Hindi poem.
                                                   
                                                           




R P Singh presented talk on Nehru wherein he described various instances of Nehru's life. khatri Lal gave various quotations which can be helpful in life. Amrit Verma gave very good experiences regarding her 'VTA 'Bus travels and with Outreach Services. M L Swamy nicely narrated  some of the instances from the life of Lord Buddha. Shri M L Ghai, Former Sr Dy Supdt of Police narrated the present law order conditions at New Delhi. A Narayanaswami narrated the story regarding  management principals operating at different level. Bharat Desai gave talk on 'The Politic and Life'.
                                              The program ended with the prayer.

Third Monday Program at 'ICC,Cupertino,CA- Friends On Same Wave Length.

                                                                              The session was chaired by Dr Krishna Gutala and a Guest Speaker was Swami Chidanandji, who is founder of 'FOWAI- Flame of who am I', IIT Engineer,Writer, Thinker and Spiritual Guide.
                                                                         
                                                                         
                                                                             Nandini presented the prayer at the beginning of the meeting. M L Swamy gave welcome address wherein he  informed regarding the activities of the various FOSWL(India) units. He also briefed regarding the coming up FOSWL (India) units at Mumbai and Pune.
                                                                             Thereafter Dr Krishna Gutala gave opening remarks regarding the subject of the day. Parthasarathy gave the introduction of Swami Chidanandji and his contribution in the  Spiritual fields.
                                                                           
                                                                           
                                                                              Swami Chidanandji  presented PowerPoint presentation on 'The Emotional Intelligence- Perspectives from Bhagawad Geeta'. Swamiji pointed out that emotions always play important role in life and it has close relationship with happiness and unhappiness.  He further added that Arjun was emotionally broken and confused in the battlefield of Kurukshtra . However Krishna boost up his spirit by telling that' I am always there in meaningful action i.e. In karma'. He removed the all doubts created in the mind of Arjun and ultimately he was ready to do as guided by him.
                                                                           
                                                                               Therefore he emphasized that' It is  necessary to sense and understand emotions and its power should be applied effectively'.  Sometime it also helps to live better life.  Geeta also preaches 'How to curb bad emotions as they are excessively aggressive and possessive.  The EQ  always measures intelligent emotions. The low EQ  adversely affect the career. Besides that it does not turn proficiency into efficiency i.e. Having skill but fail to transform it in the life. The Emotional self awareness, Assertiveness,The lack of stress tolerance, Fail to recognize the good in others are the factors which brings Frustration,and Depression. However Geeta  suggest the spiritual approach for the reducing the stress and depression.
                                                                         
                                                                                Swamiji further emphasized on the five things for self awareness which  brings stress tolerance i.e.The  activation of life, The belief beyond the life wise fulfillment, To think  about consequences of actions, Try to diffuse the Anger/Frustration and other possibilities, and to end  the undesirable Emotions.  Swamiji concluded that Geeta also stress  on controlling the attachments,Stand for your Right, To do work without hesitation or agitation, Try to understand the others point of view and to keep Sympathy and Karuna for others. One can definitely control his/her  low emotions with the path shown as above.  One can balance one self in success and failures with the help of positive path shown by Geeta. The Geeta ultimately lead us to positive and high emotions which brings happiness in life.

(The  Celebration of Mother Day)

                                                    The program was conducted by Shakuntala Bahadur. P K Banga presented devotional song in the beginning of the program. Kamala Solanki conducted 'Omkar'.
                                                    Krishna Gutala gave the historical background of 'Mother Day' wherein he mentioned that original idea was initiated by Anna Jarvis in  the year 1910. He further informed that the American Congress declared the Second Sunday of May as a' Mother Day' in the year 1914. Manju Kaushik presented Bhajan. Prema Santhnam talked about the changing role of mother. Sheela Kelkar presented one Marathi song regarding Mother. Nirmalaji  talk in Hindi regarding power and strength of mother. Indu Chhabra sang one Hindi song from  \Movie ' Jagruti' which was related to mother.  Zeba Rezvi talked  in Urdu  regarding the constructive role of mother in the society. Vijaya Srivastav talked about mother and regarding her public service activities at  New Delhi. Kanan Srivastav talked about mother while Amrita Verma described the success story of one of the American mothers. Bharat Desai also spoke in Gujarati regarding Mother's role in individual life. He also recited one Gujarati poem thereon. Urmil Chadda  spoke in Hindi regarding her personal experiences as mother with her children  Dr Mahipal Ghemawat was  of view that  mother plays important role in the family but father also give due support in the task. Dr Jotwani also suggested that due importance should be also given to the role of mother in law. Shakuntala Bahadur gave due tribute to mother in concluding remarks.
                                        AGK one of the Board Members of ' ICC' also informed regarding  the forthcoming Marathon race program of July wherein 75 philanthropic- service organizations are going to participate.
                                 The program ended with Prayer.

(The Spiritualism by Satya Kalra and Experiences of Setth a member of California National Guard who was in Afghanistan)

Satya Kalra gave talk on "Lasting Forever"- 'Birth, Death and Beyond' for one hour from 11AM to 12 Noon. T P Subramonion introduced Satya Kalra as spiritual expert who has several books to her credit.
                                                She  started her talk with the prayer  to 'God' for taking us to the reality from unreality and to the light from darkness. She said that death brings lots of questions and miseries. She quoted Satya Sai Baba ' The death is interval between the two life. Besides that the death is inevitable with the Birth. Gita preach that the soul is immortal and the body is perishable,  The soul is water proof, Can not be cut and it is in all living being. In case of death the soul changes  the body. Therefore death is not final destination. The attachment brings up ego, jealousy, hater ate,  and desire. One has to also set some goal in life.  Besides that one has to develop qualities within in order to achieve goal. In short purity of mind can only take one  to divinity and  liberation. In the process one has to take care of body and soul.  Therefore one has to do Ashan, Pranayam, The chanting of 'OM' Mantra and Meditation. It also helps to control once breathing system.
                                                Dinesh Bajaj facilitated Satya Kalra and T P Subramonion proposed vote of thanks. The question answer session was also received very well.
                                                   Thereafter Setth Jwin a member of the California National Guard narrated his experiences  during his active duty in Afghanistan  He worked their as a rescue Specialist. He observed that there is a good administrative control in the Urban and Big Cities. However local war Lords and some of the Groups are controlling  the Rural  Areas.  There is power struggle going on among local groups. However there is still lack of security in the Afghanistan.  He also informed that moral of the American army is very high. He added that Municipal Authorities in urban areas are also functioning in satisfactory manner. The session continued from 12 Noon to 1.00 PM with the large number of Seniors participated in the question answer Session.Satya Karla facilitated Setth at the end.  Dinesh Bajaj proposed vote of thanks.

M Santhnam presented the thought of the day from wherein he said'  whatever  happened is for good, whatever happening is also for good and whatever going happen  in future will be for good'. He further added that body is perishable but soul is immortal.
                            Thereafter Sunila Fondekar presented the latest on India wherein she referred about the latest position regarding Assembly election in the Karnataka State. She also briefed regarding Tragic death of Suberjit Singh, China's intrusion in Indian territory of Ladak,  Regarding  corruption in Indian Railway,and also regarding several recent  cases of rapes. She also informed regarding success story of Kashmiri woman against all odds. She further added that now even poor and backward boys and girls are also coming up through UPSC exams. She also informed regarding the celebration of 100 years of Indian cinema. She concluded with the reports of cricket and 'IPL'games.
                             B K Rao talked about the latest on international events. He mentioned regarding the  Air strike of Israel on middle east and its implications. He also informed about the contributions made by Margret Thatcher in the political field of UK. He  praised the leadership of  Hugo Chavez the former president of Venezuela who died very recently due to cancer.  He narrated story about Ruth Jabwala and her contribution in the the various countries which she visited i.e. Germany  India , UK and USA. He informed that Europe economy is further declining i.e. Countries like Cypress, Slovenia, Italy and  Spain are going through bad economic time. He also informed that Al Kaida is now expanding under different heads in different countries. He concluded that China is on offensive with Japan, India, and regarding South China Sea.
                                     Dinesh Bajaj gave presentation on America wherein he mentioned about the present hot issues of Gun Control, Immigration etc. He also discussed regarding the latest Bomb Blast and shooting at Boston.  he threw some light on the involvement of the church priest in the Sex scandals. He further pointed out that  Indian American like Vivek Randee has been investing in purchasing the franchise  of  Base Ball Team. He further informed that  USA may be self reliant regarding energy in near future. He  advised Seniors to see some of the good movies like 'The Company You Keep', 'Oblivion ' etc. He said that Indian movies have also helped to solve the issues of national integration,  including Family and Social issues.
                                      Jayshri Sharma also talk about local political issues relating to Indian American Community.
                                    Thereafter Sahru Rangnekar, a Management Consultant  gave talk on 'The Evolution of Family' wherein he stated that present generation does not look with respect towards Grandpa and Old Civilization. He quoted Confucius regarding family relationship wherein he had  described the relationships between father and son, husband and wife and between the elder brother and younger brother. However he also predicted that they will collapse for wants of equality and friendly relationship. Besides that economical conditions may be compelling people to stay in family. However big changes are required and it is inevitable.  The father and son relationship was mainly based on passing of the of asset but changes in succession law has now changed whole aspect. The equal right to son and daughter in father's properties have also created crack in the brother/ sister relationship.  Therefore family system also requires suitable changes.
 He added that there will be always resistance against changes  as it is said that people do not want to come out of comfort zone. There was  opposition against computer system but now people talk about how to improve it further.However he concluded that friendly relationship should start at suitable age  among family members in order bring changes in family system. It may be unpleasant matter and disliked by some people but it is inevitable.
                                          The question answer session was also very interesting and large number of seniors participated in the same.

                                                                                                  Enice De Sa offered prayer at the beginning of  the program. Kalyani Subramonion introduced the book for review.
                                                                        Thereafter T P Subramonion reviewed the Book in details. He described the contents of the book wherein he mentioned that there are 310 pages with 29 chapters but without index. He also narrated the life Story of Sonia Soto Mayor from Bronze , New York to the Bench of Supreme Court of America. She was born in the year 1954 in the Latino Family. She did her schooling in New York and joined the Princeton College. She completed her law from yell University. She was also Editor of 'Law Journal 'during her law Graduation. She started her law career as Assistant District Attorney for five years.  Afterwards she Joined the Law Firm. She was the first lady Hispanic Judge appointed on the bench of Supreme Court of America. She was appointed by President Barack Obama in the year 2009.
                                                       President Barack Obama then said 'She is a inspiring Woman'.  Besides that she had risen from ordinary family to such high position is amazing achievement. She has also physical problem of diabetes since the age of Eight. She is known as a 'Tough lady who cannot be pushed Around '. She believes that' The people who are living in difficult cicumtances can also have happy end. She once advised school children to' Aspires for dreams which may be crazy'.
                                                           The discussion session of seniors was also received very well. The session ended at the 12 noon.
                                                            The Yoga session was also conducted from 12 Noon to 1.00 Pm.

The meeting was started with the prayer offered by P K Banga . It was a devotional song from Hindi Movie' Guddi'. Thereafter he also presented one more song from Hindi movie 'Lagan'. The Omkara was conducted by M Santhnam.
                                                Sujaya sang one devotional song and Zeba Rezvi presented few poems in Urdu.  Dr Shakuntala Gheewala gave talk on her trip to Alibaugh i.e. near Mumbai through boat and her exiting experience thereon.  She also gave a reference of English movie 'The life of Pie' wherein young boy stays with Tiger for several days  on the boat. Rajkumari also presented devotional song.
Krishna Gutala also sang  one Kannada song. Bharat Desai also presented few poems and Shayaris along with comment thereon. Amrita Verma narrated a story of midnight knocking on the Door. Harindra Vasavada sang few songs from old movies including song of Saigal. Chandrikabahen Shah recited one English poem. Mrs Kaur also sang one devotional song in punjabi. Prema Santhnam presented one Tamil song. Indu Chhabra presented few jokes while Shakuntala Bahadur also made presentation. Shyamalaji presented one  devotional song in Marathi.
                                                        The Palo Alto Medical Foundation made presentation on the survey to be carried out regarding Health Care. Dr Mahipal Ghemawat presented some tips on Health Care regarding dementia,  Contact Lens and also informed that meditation can be more effective with Music.
                                                  The program ended with the prayer.
