                                                                                The session was chaired by Dr V K Jotwani, former Dy Director Central Health Services, Government of India.  The guest speaker of the day were Grace Kromosaka,Senior care specialist and Dr Ahmed Khan, physiotherapist. Naznin presented prayer in the beginning of program and M L Swamy gave brief report regarding the various units of 'FOSWL'. Mrs Sujata Chandrasekhar introduced the both speaker wherein she mentioned the contributions made by them in their fields. Dr Jotwani  made opening remarks wherein he mentioned that physiotherapy  has become now part of the  medicine.
                                                                                 Grace kromosaka gave insight in the services offered by long care to the seniors. She added that it also take care of the isolation problem related to senors. Besides that seniors are also orientation regarding  various activities which helps them to improve their health. She also answered few questions raised by seniors.
                                                                                 Dr Ahmed khan gave talk on 'The physiotherapy and pain management'. He also demonstrated certain exercises related to joint pain etc. He briefly informed regarding the physiotherapy which gives treatments through Heat, Water and Massage. He added that main reason for pains are  due to muscular pain or strain or sprain or fall due to loss of balance etc.  They are some time  treated with suitable exercises. There are  different types of exercises for strengthening and enduring the the bones.  They are known as metric, balancing, safety and tolerance exercises. The large number of seniors participated in the question answer session. The vote of thanks was proposed at the end.
