The program was started with prayer offered by Sita Doraiswamy and ‘Omkara by M Santhnam. .Thereafter jayshree gave presentation regarding some of the  welfare available  for seniors.
                                        A Narayanaswami gave talk on ‘ What is there in name’ wherein  he mentioned regarding short and long names. He also gave details regarding name connected with deities, cities, villages, families, flowers, birds ragas etc . He also explained how long name like Bala Subramonin is shortened like Bala and Minaxi to Minu. It was very informative talk.
                                       Meera Ramchandran presented devotional song of meerabai and Shakuntala Bahadur  recited  poem on senior’s positive approach towards health  with all ageing problems.  
                                          Thereafter Krishna Butala gave talk on American history,constitution, and election process.  Mrs Gogte gave classical song of  movie ‘Gunj Uthi Shanai’
                                         Mrs Amrit Verma gave talk on ‘The last fifteen minutes of Usma Bin Laden ‘s Life.’ Bharat Desai gave talk on the effect  of youth and ageing on the ‘Economy  and Developments of Various Countries’
                                        Thereafter Anuradha Jagadeeshan and  A G Karanakaran, Director, ICC gave some ideas regarding ‘Sevathan Walk ‘which going to be held on  15th July 2012  for raising funds for philanthropic  organizations of Bay Area. They appeal all seniors to take active part therein.
