                          Hari Verma offered ' Omkar' in the beginning of the program.
Thereafter R B Singh gave presentation on Kartik Purnima and its significance. Kartik Purnima is celebrated large scale on the bank of Ganges i.e. At  Cities like Haridwar, and Allhabad .  He also described the life of Gurunanak and his teaching. M Santhnam gave talk on some outdated and strange laws which are prevailing in American states including in Germany,  Singapore and  South Africa. Mahipal Ghemawat gave some information regarding toxic chemicals which are harmful to health.  He also gave some of signs of Alzheimer decease. M L Swamy gave some quotations regarding Wisdom. A Narayanaswami  briefed  regarding the success of several Indians abroad. They meet more failures in India due to broken system. Bharat Desai gave talk on Naxalite movement and where it may lead.

                       











 Mrs Kaur sang one devotional song on Guru Nanak preaching while Jyotsnaben Shah presented one Gujarati devotional song. Sudha Shroff also presented one Ganesh prayer. The program ended with prayer.

T P Subramonian introduced the Guest Speaker BaljitSingh  Chopra, a Practicing Electrical Engineer, and Associated with the Sikh Society of Central  Florida, Orlando   He also informed that there are 20 Million Sikhs in India and Five Million spreaded all over world. Besides that they are very much in Indian Army. Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is also Sikh.
                                                           Thereafter Guest speaker presented his talk on 'Sikhism'.  He gave Historical back ground of Sikhism at  the time when Babar invaded India in 1469. The Sikhism was the need of time then. Hindu and Muslim were against each other. Guru Nanak then preached ' There is one God but different people practice it in different manner. Truth is high but living according to it is Higher Truth.  He also added that all are equal. He described  God. One who create truth. Thy is timeless and without hatred.
                                                            There are fundamental principles in Sikhism.  One must pray to God and work hard.  One must be Strong, Honest and Fearless.  One must also try to help Needy and Live in God.  He  also advised to keep away from Tobacco and Alcohol.  He added that the Holy book of Sikhism i.e.' Guru  Granth Saheb' is having best from Hinduism, Christianity, Islam. It also contains wisdom of  Saints from different religions of the world.
                                                           In his concluding remarks  Mr  BaljitSingh  said that there are very few beggars in Punjab because slogan ' to  help  needy people' is well digested in Sikhism.
                                                              The Question  Answer session went very well and several seniors participated actively therein. Thereafter   Sikh  Devotional Songs, were presented  by the Priests from the Gurudwara, San Jose.

Sita Dorairaj presented prayer and T P Subramonian recited 'Omkara'.
                                              A Narayanaswamy spoke how festival of 'Kolam' is celebrated allover India. The colorful designs/Pictures are drawn on the front side of Main entrance. The  Buddhist, Jain and Parsi also observes the said festival in their own  way. Houses are decorated with flowers and Plants.It is observed with passing time that designs and pictures are drawn with plastic colour as they last long . Hari Verma described the Romantic and Colorful life of Jawaherlal Nehru including with Lady Mountbatten.  R B Singh reminded regarding the vision of Nehru who inspired to create IITS, IIMS and big Hydro Electric Projects.  Bharat Desai talked on the Emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi in the year 1975. Prema Santhnam  gave talk on Diwali and how it is celebrated at the various places in India and Abroad.  She said Saint like Buddha  Mahavira and Guru Govindsinh were enlightened during Diwali. She added that Diwali festival is being celebrated in  Malaya, Sri Lanka,  Fiji, and including at White House, USA.A Srinivasan talked on the achievement of Barack Obama. Parthsarthy presented the problems faced by Obama  and his achievements thereon. S Krishnamurthy presented his remembrances regarding Nehru.
Dr Mahipal Ghemawat talked on the diabities.
                                                  Avatar Kaur presented devotional song of Saint Ravidas. Thadani presented one song from Siagal.

S Krishnamurthy was presiding over the meeting and Acharya Brahamachari  Prabodh Chaitanya  Resident Head of Chinmaya Mission, San Jose was Guest Speaker of the day. The program started with prayer offered by Rangamani Swamy. Kamala Krishnamurthy and Sita Dorairaj also Sang devotional songs thereafter.
                                      M L Swamy, Secretary of FOSWL gave welcome address wherein he mentioned the activities  of all units including 'FOSWL-India . A Narayanaswami gave introduction of the Guest Speaker . S  Krishnamurthy Chair person gave his  opening remark.

                                      Thereafter Acharya Prabodh Chaitanya started his talk on 'Ramayana'. He stated that' Ramayana' is a backbone of Hindu religion. He added that Diwali is a homecoming of Rama after defeating Ravan. Vedas described 'Purna Purshottam' which is drawn  in 'Ramayana'.  He further informed that there are different types of 'Ramayana' i.e, 'Vaidic Ramayana' Vedam Vyas Ramayana, Valmiki 'Ramayana' and Tulsidas 'Ramayana'.  Besides that each 'Ramayana' emphasis on different aspects. The Vedam Vyas 'Ramayana 'emphasis on Truth and Tulsidas 'Ramayana' gives more stress on devotion.
                                     ' Ramayana' also reflects Ideal person, Ideal relationship between Husband and Wife, including Ideal relationship between Teacher and Student. It also give guidance for solving difficult problems of life i.e.  Surrendering to God. Hanuman, Sugrive,and Vibhisan are the instances wherein they totally surrendered to Rama. It also shows that Ravan was illusion. Therefore he was  destroyed. Thus one can get lasting peace by getting rid of illusion.
                                      In concluding remarks Acharya said that  one should give importance to time and it should not be wasted. Besides that keep your mind pure and have positive attitudes,

M Santhnam presented Omkara and explained its importance in day to day life.  Thereafter  Prema Santhnam presented her talk on the  life of Kalidas and his contributions in the Sanskrit literature. She explained the meaning of Kalidas i.e. Devotee of Devi Kali. She also referred the great literary work of Kalidas like Shakuntal, Kumar Shambhav and Raguvansh.
                                                     Hari Verma quoated some of the instances from the life of Akbar and Birbal. He also discussed regarding the originality of Bengan and Rice. He informed that vegetable  like Bengan had come from China.  M Santhnam  presented talk from Dynasore to Cockroach. He informed that cockroach were created 350 million year ago with 4500 types.  They have mouth under their head. They can live without food for one month and without water for two weeks.They have blood of white color.  S Krishnamurthy informed that cockroach can be killed with the mixture of  Boric water and Suger. Krishnan atomic scientist informed that Atomic Reactors are always safe with proper Security Measures. Therefore the Contravarcy over' Karum Kulam Atomic Station, near Chennai is uncalled for. B K Rao talked on the cheap houses provided to the cyclone affected people in the Krishna Delta Area of Andhra Pradesh. He also pointed out the application of high tech in the Housing Industries.
\                                                  Thadani and Harendra Vasavada sang Saigal songs. Mrulaniji presented  Hidustani Classicl  Music. Mrs krishna a senior lady recited poem in Sanskrit.  Mrs Kaur a senior also recited devotional song.
                                                   The program ended with prayer.

The program started with prayer offered by Syamala.  M Santhnam conducted the program.
            Amrita Verma presented talk on India wherein  she mentioned regarding Durga and Dashera festivals celebrated all over India  She also mentioned regarding recent visit of British High Commissioner to Gujarat in order to establish business relationship thereon. She also pointed out recent reshuffle of Central cabinet wherein 22 new ministers were inducted. The corruption charges against Khurshid Alam Khan, External Affair Minister and against Nitin Gadkari, President BJP,were also discussed. She also mentioned about Karina Kapoor's marriage with Saif Ali Khan of Patudi.
                    Dhanu Siva presented  on America.  He described the achievements of Barack Obama wherein he stated that unemployment is reduced, the stock market has gone up, real estate has stabilized  Besides that he has also brought health care reforms. He has withdrawn from Iraq and made plan for periodical withdrawal from Afghanistan, In short overall economy has improved. He pointed out that Mitt Romney is inconsistent in his policy statement and not clear in his figure work.  He also referred the economical crisis of Europe.
                    B K Rao talked on world situation. He mentioned regarding the forthcoming new  leadership in America and China- The two biggest economies of the world. He also mentioned the record growth of china where in 95 % population is covered under Health care. He added China's economy is Unstable at Grass root level, Dejected at Middle level and Out of control at high level. He informed that there is no right of information in China. He also informed regarding the latest situation in Syria. He concluded with the latest developments in Stem research.
           The Yoga session was taken by Mahendrabhai Between 12.00 noon to 1.00 Pm,
