(Spirituality-The introduction to the Bahai's Faith)

Meera Ramchandran presented one prayer in the beginning of program. T P Subramonion introduced the subject wherein he gave the historical background of Bahai's faith. He said it was established in 19 Th Century by Baha'ullah in Persia.
Prashant from Stanford and Michelle presented the power point presentation on ' The introduction to the Bahai' Faith. Prashant said that Bahai's believe in unity of all religion The God gives message through divine messenger. The different religion explains the birth of such messenger in different forms like Hindu it is Avatar, In the Buddhism it is Buddha In the Muslim it is Prophet, and In the Christianity it is son of God. However one must be seeker of truth. It may come from anywhere. He said Baha'ullah said that 'The needs of humanity differs with the age. The truth is not absolute.' However he concluded that all religion are good and the concept of Avatar in different form meant to evaluate the teaching with the time. Michelle also gave the historical events in the life of Baha'ullah. She informed that Baha'ullah was born in 1817 and died in 1892. He was from noble family of Persia He was not much educated but very enlighten soul. He was tortured by Rulers then and sent to imprisonment in exile for 40 years. He was for the unification of mankind including Family/Tribes/City/State/and World. She said that 'It is a spiritual process in depth for investigation of truth. She concluded that Bahai's Faith spread ed in 247 Countries and among 2112 Tribes. It is also have representation in UN.
Prashant added further that the Main objectives of Bahai's faith is to focus on humanity and to spread spiritual teaching. T P Subramonion sum up the session and stated that Bahai's faith is a religion of future as people are not yet ready for the same.The question answer session was received very well by Seniors.
Prof. Satish Bhatnagar, PhD, Mathematician from the university of Nevada narrated his life experiences and gave talk on 'Seemlessness'. He also discussed the topics of his various books.
Yogi Anandji gave his life experiences. He briefly gave discourse on 'Geeta'wherein He mentioned that one has to take life as a game where you meet failure and success. But it should not affect one's nature and work. Geeta teaches us that one should make efforts and leave the fruits to God. The question of then happiness and unhappiness does not arises.
