T P Subramonian introduced the Guest Speaker BaljitSingh  Chopra, a Practicing Electrical Engineer, and Associated with the Sikh Society of Central  Florida, Orlando   He also informed that there are 20 Million Sikhs in India and Five Million spreaded all over world. Besides that they are very much in Indian Army. Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is also Sikh.
                                                           Thereafter Guest speaker presented his talk on 'Sikhism'.  He gave Historical back ground of Sikhism at  the time when Babar invaded India in 1469. The Sikhism was the need of time then. Hindu and Muslim were against each other. Guru Nanak then preached ' There is one God but different people practice it in different manner. Truth is high but living according to it is Higher Truth.  He also added that all are equal. He described  God. One who create truth. Thy is timeless and without hatred.
                                                            There are fundamental principles in Sikhism.  One must pray to God and work hard.  One must be Strong, Honest and Fearless.  One must also try to help Needy and Live in God.  He  also advised to keep away from Tobacco and Alcohol.  He added that the Holy book of Sikhism i.e.' Guru  Granth Saheb' is having best from Hinduism, Christianity, Islam. It also contains wisdom of  Saints from different religions of the world.
                                                           In his concluding remarks  Mr  BaljitSingh  said that there are very few beggars in Punjab because slogan ' to  help  needy people' is well digested in Sikhism.
                                                              The Question  Answer session went very well and several seniors participated actively therein. Thereafter   Sikh  Devotional Songs, were presented  by the Priests from the Gurudwara, San Jose.
